Trust Inheritance Will Writing

7 out of 10 people still failing to make a will

A new statistic, revealed by leading Will writing specialists Trust Inheritance, has revealed that 7 out of 10 people in the U.K are still not making a Will. The company is blaming apathy, with many simply not understanding the full implication of what will happen if they do not write a Will before they die.

Each year, thousands of families across the country have to go through the difficult process of organising the affairs of their loved ones, with many torn apart by bitter disputes over how to distribute the estate of the deceased. Many simply do not realise that if they do not make a Will then their assets may not be distributed as they, or their family intend for them to be.

A spokesperson for Trust Inheritance had this to say: “Death is something that none of us like to think about. As such, it is an issue that most people avoid, meaning that they neglect make a Will. What this means, however, is that they leave their family in the sometimes difficult and awkward position of having to organise and distribute their estate after they are gone.”

“In addition to making sure that your estate is distributed in line with your wishes, our team can also advise you on the ways in which you can minimise the amount of inheritance tax your beneficiaries have to pay.”

“Some people may be daunted by the prospect of making a Will, which is why our dedicated team of experts are here to help, to make the process as simple and as painless as possible.
